Totes! And that whole Joker/Two-Face thing is seriously a bad look for Hot Chip. This actually makes me kind of nervous for Made in the Dark.

I don't know...sounds pretty great to me. That chorus is amazing. So so so subtle.

How'd this band get so good? Seriously, listen to that first album and then the second. The progression is shocking.

I still have high hopes for this one

Ok, I'm about to give it several repeat listens to see if it sticks. And you're right, Eli, the progression from the (kinda weak) Coming on Strong to the Warning is totally shocking. But so far, I don't hear anything close to "Boy From School" or "Over and Over" here.

@5 "Shake a Fist" is better than either of those songs.

the song is good. eli, youre right about the chorus. the end of the song brings it all in awesomely.

you gotta watch the video for virtual insanity. Big open rooms, moving floors, stripped-down color schemes. s'all there.

not speaking of the music per say... just the visual gimmick of the video

I love Hot Chip, I think they are one of the best bands out there today, very creative song writing and an amazing live show. There "My Piano" cut off of their DJ-Kicks blows me away. This song can definitely grow on you. I'm definitely looking forward to their new record.

half of all dfa records are nyc hipster bullshit. thankfully, 1/10th of it is brilliant enough to make up for it.
