no questions unfortunately. you could ask which movie is better: 'superbad' or 'knocked up'.

i have no interest in wwe/wwf soundtracks, but i will say that the track 'wreck' by kool keith and ol dirty bastard (which, inexplicably, appeared only on a wwf themed compilation) is a must hear:

i can take a punch, or get hit by a car / i can go to the nearest or farthest star /as a matter of fact, that's what I wanna talk about / how I went outer space, just to be in the house

My question: WTF???

Sub-questions:

1) There's a song called "If You Smell"? WTF???

2) A track list with no artist info, just whose frickin' theme each song is? WTF???

the more i poke around about this, the weirder it gets:

"I've been a life long fan of WWE," said Rick Rubin. "It's great to get the opportunity to work with them."

HWHA???

Couple of serious questions.

1. How does the WWE plan to compete with Ultimate Fighting? WWE amounts to what is basically soap operas for men, er ... boys. The matches are scripted, the action is fake, the wrestlers are all roided up and the outcome is predetermined.

Ultimate Fighting, on the other hand is none of that.

Uh, I don't know if anyone told you this in Junior High, but pro wrestling is TOTALLY REAL.

Also, (not to date myself) but check out Macho Man's myspace page, he "raps". I don't know how he actually can get his mouth open since his jaw seems clenched in a permanent cocaine induced rigor mortis.

That Kool Keith/ODB jam is hilarious. You see, pro wrestling HAS given the world something positive!

How about a tribute album for Chris Benoit? How about talking about what on Earth happened with him? Maybe Savage could jump in with some questions for his continuing series Every Child Deserves A . . . .

Could we talk about 'roid rage? How about talking about the abuse of steroids in wrestling generally?

You should definitely accept the offer. Maybe Chaz could ask questions about the overwhelming themes in pro wrestling and how they harken back to Kafka's The Trial.

You would squander an opportunity to ask questions of MISTER Kennedy?

All WWE themes (save for a select few licensed from "real" artists) are turned out by in-house producer Jim Johnson, who's been at it since the 80s heyday of WWF.

Wrestling is real. Music is scripted, predetermined, and fake (although those within the industry prefer not to use the last term).

Didn't Hulk Hogan do some recording? He needs to be on the mic like I need to be in the ring.

Yeah, here's a question for this guy.

"Who are you?"

Should be a good conversation starter.

P.S. There's no way this compares to the rap record that Macho Man Randy Savage released a few years ago: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1i2v1b0BsbA

#4: I hate to break it to you, but UFC and most big league MMA is also fake. Most of it is pre-determined, and is based on popularity, and ability to suck up to the boss.

#6 Steroids had nothing to do with Benoit's condition. Autopsy reports suggest that he had so much massive head trauma to his brain, that it was the equivalent to an 80 year old with Alzheimers.

Imagine your job ordering you to do this move on a daily basis:

Steroids aren't the issue. Addictions to Pain Killers is the issue that should be addressed. There's still a lot of unanswered questions about the case, and probably won't be answered until Benoit's Parents and ex-wife from a few years ago quit haggling over his estate in court.

If you're one of those types who thinks Weird Al or Ween are genius, then Jim Johnson definitely deserves his kudos. That man is a factory of generic popular sounding music that seems to have no genre borders.

Few people can lay claim to producing Method Man, The Hives, Motorhead, Cindy Lauper, all on the same resume. His works are a tidal wave of awful. But occasionally, they're so awful it's good.
