HORSE own your soul, but not on the basis of that song on the YouTube video - first time I've heard that, and it's kind of lame. They are fantastic live though, I caught them in Brighton Engine Rooms (140 capacity, Enter Shikari were supporting and blew the PA system) and they were funny, loud and pretty much insane. All good luck to them, if they playing they're always worth checking out, if even just for a laff.
this video has to be a joke right? they are pretty damn good at their instruments (except for the vocal instrument) but sheesh, the first minute and a half is unbearable.
Powerful words indeed. If they actually pull it off, I will definitely be paying attention.
Otherwise, a lot of bands say passionate things like that. 99.7% of them never deliver on their vows.
Most of what HORSE do is pretty much tongue in cheek - check out 'Cutsman' and 'Birdo' for some classic HORSE, but they will insist on the growling metal nonsense every now and again.
