i saw the boredoms in the early '90s when they opened for sonic youth at the SUNY Binghampton campus in upstate NY. they came out on stage and yelled "we're the BOREDOMS - NOT PEARL JAM!!!" and they rocked the fucking house down.

I never saw Boredoms recently, but I saw them in '92 on the Brutal Truth/Boredoms/Pain Teens tour, and then in 1994 for the U.S. Pop Tatari tour (openers were Trumans Water)

Then in 1999 at a big rock festival in Orange County, the same one where Sonic Youth had all their gear stolen.

All times very different, all times excellent.
