very nice - thank you.

i would like to point out, even though it's obvious to people knowledgeable about early 90's rave tunes, the opus iii version of 'it's a fine day' is the sample source for 'halcyon' by orbital (which is still a gigantic anthem for me, i dropped way too much money on an original copy of 'radiccio' last year).

wait, i'm confused. did someone named kirsty hawkshaw re-record the vocal for opus III? or did they use this vocal, and that name is just some sort of copyright infringment cover-up? because this a capella is unquestionably the source for "halcyon," and that is credited to kirsty hawkshaw / opus III. weird-O.

kirsty hawkshaw and opus iii covered the original and the opus iii version was sampled by orbital. i don't know if the sample was cleared or not, i would assume not due to when it was released.

an old friend of mine has been working with kirsty hawkshaw on new material and her voice is as stunning as ever.
