That cover is fantastic. Who's the artist? It looks similar to Nikki McClure's style.

the booklet says "songs and images by The Finches"

apparently there is a version of this cd in which the whole booklet (which, btw is full of this story of a girl giving birth to a bird or two) with lots of little printed illos.

apparently caroline is the artist in the group, as she has art shows around sf.

the finches played a magical show at the dearborn house last year. the e.p. before this is full length is also a gem... and yes, caroline's art is amazing.

Couldn't agree more Terry. Checked it out after you posted the Step Outside video a week or so back. Which, as you subtly warned, did end up getting stuck in my head for about 5 days.
