LFO or no LFO, i will go out on a limb and say that M.O.P. is undoubtedly the most intimidating rap group of all-time. not to mention WOEFULLY UNDERRATED.

I'll put Boo Yaa Tribe on M.O.P all day in the "Most Intimidating Rap Group" category, but truth be told both of those groups are very jovial, friendly folks. Although I wouldn't want to see the keg of dynamite at the end of their generous fuses.

Hardcore rap isn't dead by the way, nowadays it's just made by a bunch of angry white kids nobody can take serious.

You all are forgetting Freddie Foxxx (remember? Freddie Foxxx with the twin milli's?) and Just Ice, the original gangster of hip-hop. [And if you want to go (formerly) local, has everyone forgotten Kutfather?] MOP are deserving of this and so many other praises ("Before you test me/Know I feel that the impact from a gat when it kicks back is sexy") but it should be qualified that they are to Freddie Foxxx as those bratty rugrats in "Talladega Nights" are to Ricky Bobby.

I will throw cred Freddie Foxxx's way, as well as Big Shug (his last album was probably the best "street" album I've heard in a long time) and while Boo Yaa Tribe are all very large men, M.O.P. are hands down better MCs.

remember when kurtis blow said to never scream into a mic? mash out made it an artform. 'ante up' is still the jam and who else could as convincingly flip 'cold as ice'?

i don't know if m.o.p. will benefit from g-unit unfortunately. mobb deep surely did not (who could also be cited as a very intimidating rap posse).
