Is this normal or not?

English subtitles for a tune (Midnight Oil’s Beds are Burning in English) sung in English? I must be missing something.

Charles, if you ever put up a Midnight Oil video again, I'm going to indulge in some black on black crime.

— The rest of the art department is making fun of me... but I freakin' love Midnight Oil. No, for reals. Thanx for this, made my day Charles!

The U.S. subtitles everything these days, even posh BBC accents.

It makes us look bad and perpetuates the self-fulfilling problem of Americans being unable and unwilling to understand anything from another country.

In other news, Midnight Oil is one of the greatest bands of all-time.
