Breeders to Play Sasquatch!

posted by on February 6 at 16:50 PM

Pitchfork reports today on a slew of new Breeders tour dates, including an appearance at Memorial Day Weekend Gorge blowout Sasquatch.

05-24 George, WA - The Gorge (Sasquatch)

The rejuvenated Breeders will be touring behind their forthcoming 4AD album Mountain Battles.

(On the Sasquatch rumor front: REM, Modest Mouse.)

i haven't seen any talk of the rem/modest mouse/the national tour making a stop at sasquatch on the internet, but it was the first thing i thought of when those tourdates were announced last week w/out a seattle date, and a big gap in their itinerary that happened to coincide with the festival.

if rem and the cure are in fact the two main headliners each day, the 80s college rock revival is indeed in full effect.

Awesome, but I wish they'd skip Sascrap and play a real show.

Vancouver it is then.
