Last Night King Cobra: Love - Death

King Cobra was alive last night with head banging metal fun. It was a practice run of the sound system and a prelude to the grand opening slated for the end of this month. My Bloody Heavy Metal Valentine featured Sindios and metal cover band, Iron Falcon. As in, fuck yeah. The stage is big, Kelly Berry has dialed the sound, and the people are amped. Evil energy is good. Cold beer is cold. Jenny Bendel rules.
Iron Falcon is Alison from the Valkyries, Robbie from Skelator, Erik from Fallen Angels, Chris from the Ones, and Jeffrey previously with Book of Black Earth.

Why is it that everytime I see pictures from that place that I wish the owners would of kept it a dance club and just put together some better nights.
Maybe I'm the only one, but that place definitely looks like it could of been a cool night club.

Hey TJ! For what it's worth, Jenny was very clear in making the point to me that it is not just a metal club. You should contact her and put together a night there. It would kill.

Dude. That cover band TOTALLY SUCKED. A prime example of what happens when kids sit around playing Guitar Hero all day and think they need to be on a stage. Just because you DO IT doesn't mean you DO IT AWESOME. Try a few rehearsals instead of teasing your hair or whatever. Please. Hey drummer? Slayer is closer to d-beat than it is to boogie-woogie. Try it out.
