Good on Herbie Hancock. The man has had a tremendous impact on American popular music as well as the world of jazz piano. Watermelon Man, Chameleon, Cantaloupe Island, Rockit... The youth are influenced by this artist, yet they do not know him. Who says the Grammys have to be for kids anyway? You think children were buying all those Sinatra records back in the day? Grow up, NARAS.

and i know, it's bad to say 'cause she's old and everything, but....

that gospel thing made me want to gag too. all i could think was "fuck you cbs!", for forcing me to watch 10 minutes of gospel performers.

Herbie Hancock was phenomenal.

Yes, Jerry Lee proved he was but he looked old doing something well that you could never do at your youngest and brightest. Shit, I only saw The Killer get on his keys a little too anxious for one brief secodn and then reeled it back in. Little Richard tapped out halfway through one verse. Fucking Fogerty bailed him out hard. Don't trip, it was still great.

Herbie Handcock was phenomenal.

The Foos cliche romp with an orchestra? Well done and genuine, good even.

Also: Will.I.Am was dressed as dumb as he should feel right now.
