thanks for making it out to the show Megan! alas our first mystery guest postponed.

it was a fun first show and both bands were amazing. and yes, the donuts were delicious!

we have some crazy good stuff (actually) lined up for mystery guests over the next few months...i would tell you who, but then it would'nt be a mystery! (and you probably wont believe me anyway)

no matter what this show will always be the most entertaining thing going on in Ballard on Sunday afternoons.

I had a blast yesterday guys. You came out swinging, and I was really proud of 4 O'clock Rock's heir apparent.

Fun music moment of the night: Jimmy was having technical difficulties during a big solo, rock legend Kurt Bloch goes in back to get his guitar for Jimmy, Space Bear Tim from North Twin whispers to me, "Lucky guy to get to play that guitar," then as Jimmy straps on Kurt's guitar, a guy from in back walks up to Kurt, points to his guitar that Jimmy's holding, and tells him he's the guy who made the pick-ups. I stood in the middle of this 3-minute exchange, and it made me smile. I think it's just one of those music nerd moments I'm sure there will be a lot of at Sunday Bloody Sunsets in the future...hopefully at King Cobra if I'm lucky.

Jimmy Flame & The Sexxy Boys played their first show together in I think over a year. They were getting warmed up to kick ass at King Cobra on Friday. (gratuitous plug, I know).

Thee Sgt. Major III - Completely talented darlings every time.

Wrinkles will get ironed out, and it will definitely be the most entertaining thing going on in Ballard on Sunday afternoons. :)
