That was a pretty great TV appearance. I bet Tim would be a blast to be in a band with.

I always just wonder why the other guys in Les Savy Fav are so normal.

Funny when he sang to the parrot head, but otherwise, I am still trying to figure out why people find this appealing. Half naked guy screaming an unmemorable melody while his t shirt and jeans bored friends play out of tune, really easy to play, unmemorable guitar lines.

Epic in every way possible.

I love the drums on that song. I love the guitar patterns. I love the words. I love how he sings it. It makes you run fast when listening through headphones.

That is why I like that song.

Maybe it's a Pixies thing. Maybe you have to like the Pixies to like this song. Just throwing it out there.

It loses something in Conan's studio, but it's, as the kids say, "a whole nother thing" live.

Welcome to Line Out, Casey. You're doomed.

i don't think you could have an ego at all if you're in a band with tim harrington. i'm sure none of the other bandmembers go, "i have all these effects pedals and shit, and all everyone EVER talks about is tim!"

with that said, i don't think there's a frontman anywhere, indie-rock or otherwise, that's as consistently entertaining as harrington.

Les Savy Fav are damn fun. The show at Neumo's will be etched in my mind for years. I may even need therapy to get rid of it.

btw, 'unpaid intern', lol.

I taped it last night. Haven't watched it yet. I figured it would be on youtube, but I wanted to see the real deal. Whoop!

awesome. maybe not as awesome as when dfa1979 played with max weinberg drumming and the singer pelvic-thrusting his face.

This song is awesome. This band is awesome.

Not sure what basis someone would have to not like it actually, (@3 and 5???) -- the drum, guitar, and BASS interplay is sooo groovy. They have quite a few songs where the band is totally locked in. Plus the song after this one on the album they fucking BEAST the Strokes, so if you like rock bands with good rhythm sections and hooky guitar work, then you pretty much have to love LSF.

On top of that the lyrics to pretty much all their songs are the DOPEST.
