Comments on Tonight in Music

I am going to UW to see Menomena, BOAT, and Blitzen Trapper get down. How could you have missed this show? It is easily better than the El Corazon garbage!

Awesome Exodus story Larry! I remember seeing them at the Paramount with Anthrax and Helloween a couple years later. Funny show, but not near as good of a tale as yours.

@1 - I was thinking the same thing. Maybe they didn't send out a press release? Someone didn't check their email? Strange.

Doesn't seem like those UW Hub shows ever get very good promotion outside of the campus...

@1 Sorry that UW show got overlooked. That's my bad, which sucks cause I love Boat and that Blitzen Trapper record is growing on me.

Still, I wouldn't call the show at EC "garbage." These Arms put on a fucking GREAT live show--they're constantly on the road so they're ridiculously well rehearshed and tight, and they have a wicked light show with their set. I assume they still do, anyway. Even if you're not a fan of the music, there's great musicianship and showmanship representing that you gotta appreciate at least a little.

We (UW's Rainydawg Radio) did send a press release to the Stranger. Our ad even ran in the Stranger. It's okay though, the Menomena show sold out and rocked really hard.
