Is that supposed to be a positive or negative statement? I assume it's touting the endless relevance of heavy metal, but for a moment I thought, "No matter how much you stab it in the face, that heavy metal just won't die. How frustrating!"

@3 Ha! Good point! I saw that and just assumed it was a pro-heavy metal statement. I'm going to think you're right, though, and this is his way of protesting the genre.

Ha ha, it would be a lot funnier if it was protesting heavy metal lasting beyond the '80s. But it's an old Metalblade Records t-shirt.
