Television Franz Ferdinand in the News, Every Night

Is it just me or does CNN play the riff from Franz Ferdinand’s “This Fire”—not the lyrics, just that impossible-to-mistake refraining chord progression—on Anderson Cooper 360 when they need background noise?

It’s surprising every time.

I hate the loud, clanky, over the top music CNN has been using during the debates. It sounds like "Chase Theme from The Terminator," total overkill.
