News RIP Jeff Healey

Jeff Healey, the blind Canadian bluesman behind the ’80s hit “Angel Eyes” and thousands of awesome live performances in the decades after, has died of cancer at age 41.
Sad. (But we’ll always have Road House.)

Damn. Dude could play. RIP.
Tough break. Born blind. Learned to wail on guitar anyway. Died of cancer and... returns for post-mortem concert? I guess there's no getting around that one.
The dude could play. RIP, bluesman.
It'll be hard to watch Roadhouse now and not get sad.
He wasn't born blind: when he was only one year old, he lost his sight to the cancer that eventually killed him.
I saw Jeff and his band at The Backstage in Ballard in 1988. They were on fire. One of the most memorable shows of my lifetime.
