Video Slayer Friendly 2: Cremaster 2

In Matthew Barney’s Cremaster 2, Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo solos with a swarm of bees. Bass tones of the bees are brought up as Lombardo murders the double-kick. The scene is tense, guttural, and foreboding. Morbid Angel singer Steve Tucker is there, covered in bees, demonically gurgling into a phone.
The story of Cremaster 2 is loosely centered on the life of the Mormon man Gary Gilmore (played by Barney) who was put to death in 1977 for killing two Utah men.

I'm glad I wasn't the intern that had to put those bees away after they were done recording. You know his day sucked.
On another insect note I remember a story about a producer that wanted to make the country band feel more at home and brought bales of hay into the studio for the recording session. It was fine for a couple of days until the eggs hatched and the studio became infested with fleas.
I heart me some Matthew Barney - in all his crazy ways. Nice tie in to your earlier post.
