To me, Death Cab had always been nothing more than the Pacific Northwest's premiere purveyors of wussy, cloying indie rock, and to see them fail would, in some way, validate everything I had ever thought about them.
This made me not trust the writer's opinion.

no, in fact I didn't know a) that record existed, and b) that you can acquire records from a blog site. I am internet-illiterate.
