I pretty much regret any time not spent at a Prince concert.

I saw Prince several years ago in a small venue and it was an amazing musical event. I think that no matter what you think of Prince, it is hard to deny that the dude has galaxies of talent, and can rock like no. one. else.

I saw him a few years ago with my sister. I jumped up and down and screamed for 2 hours. The is simply amazing.

It was a pretty impressive show, if only from the perspectives of breadth, showmanship, and endurance. Still, I would have liked it if they'd turned up the volume a bit. From where I was sitting, it was often hard to tell what Prince was saying between songs.

I got there early, and managed to get within about 35-40 rows of the stage, dead center (right around where this guy is, actually...maybe a little closer). The sound in that spot was perfect...Coachella's main outdoor stage has the best sound of any outdoor stage I know. It helps to get in close.

Stupidly, I left around 12:30 trying to beat traffic and meet up with friends. Had I known he would play for another half-hour, I would never have gone anywhere.
