The album, Green Lover, continues the “more dusty than digital” program that Specs One has refined and elaborated over the past decade. His voice: raw; his beats: beautifully faded.
Specs is yet another unsung local hero - graffiti artist, comic book writer and stellar hip hop MC. I remember back when he was selling his spacey comic books on Broadway. Thanks for giving him some props. Now how about a feature article?
after listening to his myspace trax i guess it's cool that this guy is breaking new ground, but did he really have to go in the direction of "homeless guy tries to record in an ally"?
