Why does the image for Ophelia not have the sex that overflows from the image for Motherland? For an answer we must turn to Diotima in the Symposium. What she says in that short book can be applied here: Ophelia is about the present; Motherland is about the eternal. Sex is nothing else than our access to immortality. We are drawn to Motherland because it is charged with the infinite.

Also, you can't see her boobs in the second one.
It is not so much that her music is lacking in sex as that it is lacking in any sort of musical interest whatsoever. Whether or not she displays her breasts in the cover art, the music within is tepid dishwater.
I'm waiting for the other Mudedean shoe to drop--namely, a reference to Natalie Merchant's twin Death Stars being the ultimate expression of eternity, the wonder, indeed, The Void.
she is posed with her head to the right... in painters' symbolism, the opposite direction is traditionally a less virtuous inference.
If I'm not mistaken, Charles, you posted the same photos with roughly the same text about a year ago. Why do you feel the need to repeat yourself?
