why does she have so much vibrato in her voice? is she nervous?

Funky song. I've heard of this band in passing before, I'll have to check them out.

this will still never beat the bazillion times i saw Gossip rock a small sweaty basement in Olympia. my favorite being the time Beth wore a tiny black dress that kept almost falling off which inspired the throng of lesbians thrashing around the band to take off their tops. there was i, stuck in the middle of it, top still intact, but buzzed of some jager a friend kept shoving in my face, dancing my heart out. kids tripped over power cords almost disrupting the set, but it was fucking punk rock.

i'm glad the Gossip has gained success, especially in the UK, but i'll hold onto my memories from those basement shows.
