For what it’s worth, I’ve had the melody of Fleet Foxes’ “White Winter Hymnal” stuck in my head most of the afternoon. It is a fine melody.

ha, isn't it? i have to say that, although anyone who reads my blog with some sort of regularity will know that i'm like the internet's biggest fleet foxes fanboy, just because you're a journalist doesn't mean you don't have the right to not like something.
maybe they'll change your mind like no age did, or maybe not. who knows? i just don't see why people made such a big deal in the last post.
For what it's worth, the melody of "Mykonos" sounds like the O'Jay's "Now that We've Found Love," which I think is a good thing all around.
that's funny, because the first part of "white water hymnal" sounds a lot like the guitar line of akron/family's "i'll be on the water."
weird.
when you say fleet foxes do you mean my morning band of foxes?
