The Georgetown Music Fest (now it in its fourth year) has announced the line-up for their upcoming party (as if this summer wasn’t busy enough). Here’s the list, straight from their MySpace:

Why do people keep booking powerful crap power. that guy sucks. seriously give a real band a chance that only got popular because mob mentality and a ghost of cap hill nepotism. good god do i wish he would go away.
Wow, that's probably better than the block party line up for local stuff. I remember Helmet on the "Meantime" tour playing Rckcndy and they were excellent, although not as good when they played the OffRamp after "Strap it On" came out. Apparently they are trying to play the whole "Meantime" album in order.
I wish they would have booked Welcome. They are even from Georgetown!!!!
