Wow. I'd love to see who the defense used their challenges on if they let the rape victim and the guy who already thinks R. Kelly is guilty onto the jury - was it like Nancy Reagan and the chick from actual R. Kelly video? WTF??!

Granted, my pity jar for Herr Kelly is pretty much empty. I've been harboring a grudge ever since my lawsuit charging him with crimes against music for "I Believe I Can Fly" was dismissed on the grounds that it was total fucking bullshit. I think 5-10 in a PMITA prison might, at the very least, improve the quality of his music.

Anybody who thinks they can speculate what the freakin verdict is going to be based on these really (important?) details (culinary student?) or character-defining(?) events (once arrested for marijuana possession) is an idiot. Shit, I think I know at least one person who could fit into any one (or three) of these categories. A post like this is pretty offensive to this young, white, male college graduate who was once arrested for marijuana possession.

Better just let the jury decide based on the facts presented in the case dude.

I think it's fair to say (not wack) that several of the jurors are going to be immediately unsympathetic to Kelly's case. Which is not necessarily a bad thing, since, although I enjoy the man, my initial inclination is that he's guilty as shit.

"several" is not unanimous and the jury's gotta be unanimous to convict.

pretty much all juries contain at least "several" individuals who are unsympathetic to people who commit crimes, so i'm still not sure where you're going with this.
