These "emos" or whatever they like to be called (yes, I know that MCR is not "real" emo), have taken the idea of a music fad waaaaaaay too far. A protest march? Are you kidding me?

I don't recall any stories of protest marches by young pseudo-goths when the media was blaming Columbine on Marilyn Manson, or any stories of marching heshers back when Tipper Gore was blaming Ozzy for everything short of the death of Jesus Christ...

Hell, I'm against any and all depiction of My Chemical Romance in the media, sign me up.

The reason protests havnt been done in the past for these other bands is becuase these other bands havnt influenced lives and impacted peoples lives in the way that My Chemical Romance have. If youre not a fan.. you will never understand.. but this band saves lives.. not the opposite. they teach you to love yourself and to not take shit from anyone.. and they also encourage anyone that is depressed to seek help. they understand the terrible state some teenagers are in trying to grow up and find where they fit in.. the world needs more bands and people like them to say it how it is and stand up and be a beacon of hope and faith for kids that feel let down and ignored by society. You can try and ignore it and fight it if you want - the same as the punk culture when it started - but its evolution baby.. someones gotta stand up and say f*** you.. this band and this message means something to me and were going to show the world that they teach us love.. not the opposite.

And saying 'Now thats just silly and i wont allow it' is ridiculous! youre just proving how this problem came about in the 1st place. People like you who are closed minded and dont want to see outside your little box. This is a music fad. its waaaaaay more than that!
