Oh, yes, I'm certain that in 40 years we are going to be comparing Badu to Dylan what all the genre/culture changing they have in common. I think it's more likely we'll be comparing this to, maybe, Sha Na Na in 1969, John Cougar Mellencamp in 1983 or Barenaked Ladies in 1998. I am having a tough time remembering exactly when in 1981 Bad Brains played Radio City Fucking Music Hall...

No disrespect to Erykah Badu, but his little bragging rights sideline is utter bullshit. It's his way of saying "hey, Erykah Badu might be my favorite act, but I like cool stuff too guys!" Get a grip SFJ, she's probably got a guy slapping a six string bass, and that's why you were stoked.
