it should be noted that the guy on the right side of the "real thing" album cover is seattle's own johnny conga. a super dope percussionist. he plays in a bunch of bands around town and also hosts a show on kbcs saturday evenings. peep him at myspace.com/jcjohnnyconga.

i'm a huge fan of sergio mendes and all of his reincarnations of his brazil band. a stand out track for brazil 88 is the track One More Lie. i play it as one of my last 2 songs, every time i DJ.

there is a live performance up on youtube of one more lie, but its really bad. musically good, 3 female lead singers kill it.
