Album ‘Mingle’ Mania

The Saturday Knights’ Mingle is out today. You can buy it and flip over it like I have been for weeks. If you wanna peep it online first, check The Old Kentucky Blog, who’s got the first 6 tracks for your audio pleasure. Then, hit the KEXP Blog to hear the rest. Once you’ve done that, take your ass to the store and cop what is IMHO the illest Seattle album you will hear all year.

@5- it's atrociousness matches several of the songs on the album. Atrocity becomes them. However, their live shows RULE!
agreed with @5 and 6. Some of the production is a bit underdeveloped. Or maybe it's just the annoying choruses.
Actually the production is just fine, the album art is awesome, and the choruses in the songs are catchy as hell. This is the kind of music I like. Not all overproduced and prettier than it should be. This album fucking rocks and if you disagree, you are wrong.
@8-obviously you are not a musician. the art work is dated, and the tunes aren't mastered. but i agree w/ the others-their live shows are great.

Haven't seen them live, but if they can do anything like the record it must be pretty amazing, because the record is GREAT. So fun, so funny, so funky, so free. And I think the album art is hilarious.
