Superchunk!

posted by on June 20 at 12:10 PM

As Line Out readers may have noticed, I’ve been on a bit of a Superchunk kick lately. Which got me thinking: Wouldn’t it be great if Superchunk were coming to Seattle this summer? Maybe to play some big music festival? Yeah, that would be pretty rad.

Grandy, if you haven't paying attention Superchunk's Johnny Wurster is the funniest man on the planet. Also, he get's name checked in the Dead Milkman song "Stuart."

He's a regular guest on WFMU's "The Best Show on WFMU with Tom Scharpling."

He regularly plays several roles as a regular contributer to the show.

Among them are:
1. Philly Boy Roy (Fanatical Philadelphia guy who loves everything about Philly and has the accent to prove it).

2. Bryce in Newbridge (lives behind the Lady Footlocker out on Muffler Row in Newbridge, New Jersey. Loves: Getting high and listening to Grateful Dead).

3. The Gorch! (Author of "The Real Life Fonzi's Guide to Real Life).
