Grunge isn't dead, it is just old, with kids.
All this nostalgia is just about played out, but it has been a lot of fun. It was pretty impossible to be in Seattle and not feel some civic pride this past week.
Sub Pop has always elicited strong responses from folks -- haters and fans alike -- which is always a sign that you are doing something right. They are a big part of the Pac NW, and they sure did it right with this anniversary.
Besides, Bruce and Jon on the Space Needle? So fucking cool.
