You are such a waste of space on this blog and in the Stranger Paper.

I am not surprised you did not like the show. I am not surprised that you didn't like the visuals. I am not surprised that you are unhappy with the band.

I am not surprised because you rarely have anything positive to say about anything.

However at the STP show I saw so many people having a good time.

Yes the band was late, but besides that, when the band did make it to the stage the whole place lit up, and people had a great time for the whole set. So what if the visuals were lame- The music was entertaining to the audience- and isn't that what is important for a concert?

It's not difficult to figure out that you are the type of person who has to find something wrong with everything. You think that your negative take on things is intelligent and necessary. Eric Grandy you are a party pooper.. a sad little party pooper.. Yes I said it.. and it is true..
I wonder if you every have any fun or if you are the guy that is always whining about something or somebody. Lighten up will ya!

Yes STP are grunge. Yes grunge is sooo 90's sooo passe' .. But so what.. it's a part of music history.. some people still like it.. at least STP is staying true to what they are. Not only that but I'll bet that some STP songs may have had an influence on some artist that you like- but that is if you like anybody.

Perhaps you think that you are being witty by being so negative in your writings, but it's really just predictable at this point. Whenever I come accross your articles I know its going to be tongue and cheek humor and negative. Maybe you could surprise your readers one day and take a well--butrin or something.

Oh, and I haven't seen Juan the Frye Apartments guy in forever. Anyone knows what happened to him? I actually know his "origin story" and hope that he's OK.

I am not much of an STP fan. But I did like the Black Keys that night.

However I do agree with the first post in that I don't think Eric Grandy likes many bands at all- he may like some- but I think he hates most of them- at least that's the impression he leaves in the Stranger. He hates everything even Life Cereal.

I never finish an article from Eric feeling happy or uplifted-- in fact his articles usually leave me feeling kinda blah- so I avoid them for the most part.

If I believed everything Eric put down or gave a bad review too, I would miss alot of good music.

So think for yourself people
