Pink Floyd's secret weapon. The perfectly-complementing high vocal harmony to both Barrett and Gilmour and the seminal trip-music keyboardist. I always appreciated his sense of texture and depth, which stood in contrast to the noodly keyboard stylings that were so popular during the prog era when Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here and Animals came out. I think Wright's tastefulness has a lot to do with why those recordings hold up so well.

Ain't nobody buying Emerson, Lake and Palmer albums any more, but Dark Side remains a steady seller. Rock keyboards that don't suck are one of the things that set Floyd apart, and that is all thanks to Wright.
