Tonight Tonight in Music: Husbands, Love Your Wives, Battle of the Pizza-Making Bands
posted by on September 8 at 11:11 AM
Pagliacci Pizza employs a lot of musicians—tonight all their rock and rollers (and singer songwriters, laptop gurus, and whatever else) battle it out for a trophy, a couple days of free studio time at Bear Creek, and the right to mock their losing fellow-employees. Also worth noting, tonight’s show is a benefit for the Vera Project. Cover’s $5, and the line-up goes like this: Shroud of Desolation, Johnston Country, Quite Corine, Datura Blues, Thunderbird Motel, Lathe Symphonic, the Mark Sparkles, Rad Touch.
A few of those bands have Bands Pages, so here’s a preview what what you’ll hear tonight:
Rad Touch - “Burning Sinking Viking Ship”
Quite Corine - “Kissing Through Lullabies”
Datura Blues -“The Dresser of Sycamore Trees”
Thunderbird Motel - “Black Eye”
Husband’s, Love Your Wives live at Neumo’s earlier this year
Also tonight, for the less-competitive types, Husbands Love Your Wives play Chop Suey with Josh Ottum and Law of the Least Effort.
See the list of everything happening here.

That's "Johnson County", not "Johnston Country" (I know, it was wrong in the original Pagliacci schedule.) Thanks for the plug. Hope you enjoyed the show!!
