I Had to Suffer, Now You Do Too

Posted by on Tue, Nov 18, 2008 at 2:38 PM

Misery loves company. I can't not show you this. Ladies and gentlemen, the worst video, the worst song, my worst experience of 2008:

Brokencyde - "Freaxxx"

My favorite line: "Convertible top, and the wheels spin/I can taste that ice when my grill is in. If you want me baby feel me in/'cause I don't waste my time with lesbians."

Fuuuuuuuuck. It's awful. I'm sorry I put you through that.

Now that it's over, cleanse your pallet here.

Sounds like the Blood Brothers with better beats. I mean it sucks, but relatively it's a familiar kind of suck.

The makers of this video responding to criticism
http://eatcakefilms.tumblr.com/post/4982…

"I want to tell you some facts about our 'gay' video:

1. We shot this 100% on our own equipment.

2. We shot this on a budget of $0.00.

3. This was our first project since graduating film school.

4. Everybody who worked on this shoot was unpaid therefore we respect EVERYBODY who featured in our video.

5. We shot this video in four hours.

6. There was no drinking of alcohol on set. The bottle you see seven drinking from….that’s apple juice believe it or not!"

Wow.
