Do You Have Time for the Slow Listening Movement?

“Like a lot of people who love music a lot, I am a pack rat and a glutton. The Slow Listening Movement is my way of trying to curb those tendencies,” writes Stranger columnist Michaelangelo Matos on his new blog, which is devoted to a project that’s a musical analogue of the slow food movement. I would go into more detail about the Slow Listening Movement, but I have a teetering stack of CDs on my desk that I need to check out before the year’s over. (Seriously, though, this endeavor seems very worthwhile. I encourage you to explore.)
