Violence erupts at an unofficial party for the Biggie biopic…Four people were stabbed at a party celebrating the release of Notorious in New York this weekend.
One man Antwione Jones is reportedly in hospital in a critical condition after the fight at the Djumbala club in Brooklyn.
The afterparty took place after a screening of the Notorious B.I.G biopic which has just been released.
The event was advertised as ‘official’ by the organisers but film studio Fox have stressed that it had no involvement in the party.
In a separate event in North Carolina Notorious screenings were stopped after a shooting at a cinema.
What really gets my goat is the nerve to open a film about a dumb, black thug on the very weekend that the nation celebrates the achievements of MLK and the arrival of America's first black president. The worst kind of timing in the world.
