Album / Love / Television Beirut on Letterman Tonight

I've been listening to the new Beirut (well, Beirut and Realpeople—both Zach Condon, basically) double EP March of the Zapotec/Holland all day to prepare for a review, and I just noticed this press release from BaDaBing Records:
Hey Everyone!
Cancel those exciting Friday night plans, because Beirut is performing as the musical guest on Letterman tonight! Ok, maybe that's not cancel-worthy, but if you happen to find yourself at home and conscious around 12:30 tonight, we highly recommend tuning in, as it's their network television debut. No need to tune in any earlier as the guests are Dakota Fanning and a not-terribly-funny comedian. Sigh...
Which of course begs the question, what the fuck's your problem with Dakota Fanning, BaDaBing?!
