The Erotic Ball at Trinity

Posted by on Wed, Feb 25, 2009 at 5:09 PM

There was something a little intimidating about going down to Pioneer Square by myself for the Erotic Ball "Seattle's Most Outrageous Mardi Gras Party" at Trinity last night.

But once I got there, I was surprised at how plain nice everyone was. And no-judgments, how much real FUN everyone was having. Whether or not it was "erotic—I still haven't decided. I do know that I had a very entertaining conversation with a middle-aged black man about the changing size of the average female booty, and I definitely learned a little bit about airbrush technique for both male and female breasts. Not a bad Tuesday night. Uh, make that a "Fat Tuesday" night...

The first photo is fascinating. The guy in the red cock-and-ball sling is, of course, way creepy (and I'm not being sex-negative, he just IS!), but look to the right. What's going on there? If you look for a while, you figure out that the two guys are shaking hands. But the guy in the black and white undies is covering his privates with his other hand, as if to say, "Dude, this is JUST A HANDSHAKE, OK?" Or is he saying something else?

Anyway, #7 made my day.

These are some amazing costumes, but the awkward overly-bearded guy standing with a goofy grin and his hands in his hoody pockets really went all out.

I liked, #5 and # 7. I envy # 5's eye makeup and cheek bones, and # 7 is just dang cute. Both are attractive.

I bet mudede is offended by the woman with dolphin art painted on her chest ("she is hiding bad art behind the goodness of boobs").

Julie in Eugene:

I hate FTW comments, but your comment is the funniest thing I've seen all day.

I know it was a Mardi Gras party, but those cheap plastic beads don't look sexy on anyone.

Meanwhile, I've never seen a cheap fake mustache look better than on that guy in suspenders.

As is usually the case at these things, the ugly people have not enough clothing on, and the hot people have too much.

8, 11, 12 - I know it's terribly shocking to discover what Real People actually look like, in, you know, Reality.....

Best to get used to it sooner rather than later, trust me...

Sad how negative the comments are. I had a blast and pictures really can't do justice...the fun wasn't had in front of the camera, it was had in the private areas...the bathroom, the dark corners, the bedroom at the end of the night.
