Steve Albini's vanity project, Shellac, will make a rare Seattle appearance at Vera Project June 11, with Arcwelder. Stoked.

"Vanity project"? I don't know that Shellac is any more a vanity project than Fugazi ... and that's to say not much of one. Goblin Cock is a vanity project. Unless you were being ironic then, ah, I guess I didn't see what you did there. Anyhoo, +1 on stoked.

ARCWELDER????

I've been waiting to see them for almost 20 years!

The Shellac shows from August 2005 were great too, and this is one band I'll never miss live.

But Arcwelder! Holleeee shit. (I've been playing Jacket Made In Canada and This and Pull all week long.)

There are two shows. I got mine for Friday night though. Really should probably do both

Will be at both. With bells on. Maybe literally.

Shellac is by far the worst of Albini's projects. A Rapeman reformation, on the other hand, would definitely be boner-inducing.
