Dancing Where Can 18-Year-Olds Dance?

Mike has a good question:

Dear Stranger,

Do you know of any under 21 dance clubs or clubs with a night for 18 - 20 year olds in Seattle? I want to take my friend out to a dance club for his 18th birthday, but maybe its not possible.

Any help you can provide would be great.

The only consistent 18+ dance events I can think of are the All-Ages Afterhours nights at Neighbours (every Fri-Sat from 2 am-4 am, $10) and Chop Suey's monthly Club Pop (the next one is this Thursday with Joey Casio, Wallpaper, and Sarah Adorable).

Let's help Mike out! Are there any other 18+ dance clubs or nights worthy of his friend's birthday celebration?

@1 Right. I know that. But instead of being a brat about it, maybe you can list a couple places not on the hill offering 18+ dance nights?

Club One 3 One by Funhouse and the EMP is I think the only all-ages dance club in Seattle. For people with no sense of history, it was previously Amp, Oz, and a long time ago Skoochies.

They can check out NWtekno.org for events going on in Seattle, PDX, and BC. It will say if the event is 18+ or 21+. Club Motor on 1st ave has a lot of 18+ events. Word.

There's an 18+ show called Shakenmuuvit happening with DJ Three from NYC and ctrl_alt_del and others for some bangin' minimal techno. it goes from 10-5am.

it's at TCoB 920 Elliot Ave on May 1st.
