U.S.E have a raft of new releases coming out soon and a couple of big gigs on the horizon. See details in the press release below.

U.S.E (aka United State of Electronica) will release its its forthcoming sophomore album, L O V E W O R L D, August 4.

L O V E W O R L D will be available on CD, LP and digital formats. The album will be preceded by three digital singles: the just-released All The World, out May 5 (also available from usemusic.com as a limited-edition, spray-painted CD); followed by We The People on June 16 and Dance With Me on July 21. Each of the singles include the title track along with a b-side and remix. All releases will be available via Mannheim Worldwide and usemusic.com. Full details below.

U.S.E is a seven piece, un-ironic, uber-positive dance pop band with a strong D.I.Y. spirit that has drawn comparisons to the likes of B-52's, Alphabeat, Daft Punk, and Junior Senior. The band has a devout following and won over a ton of respected media outlets the world over with its self-titled/released 2004 album. The band has toured the U.S. and Japan, playing festivals like Fuji Rock, Sasquatch, Bumbershoot, Capitol Hill Block Party, among others. They've shared the stage with the likes of Death Cab For Cutie, The Hold Steady, Junior Senior, Aqueduct, and more.

SPIN said of its self-titled debut, "High energy, ultra positive dance tracks· U.S.E eschew irony but gleefully grab Junior Senior song craft, Daft Punk's Sonics and the B-52's rollicking moxie." Says Rolling Stone, "The West Coast beat masters in United State of Electronica have what you need building giddy techno smashes out of vocoder voices, disco beats, stings and Avalanches style soul sample."

Fluxblog recently reviewed U.S.E's "All The World" MP3, and said, "The first single from their forthcoming sophomore record, is essentially the ultimate U.S.E. song in that it concentrates all of the band's strengths into a single, concise four and a half minute blast of pop euphoria." Stereogum said, "The EP arrives with handmade spray-painted covers along with "All The World" and a DJ Ron Kurti remix of the same track. We have them sans spray-painted covers, but just as much colorful confetti."

U.S.E is currently working on its fall tour plans to support the releases, but for now has two Seattle dates to announce including a performance for KEXP "John In The Morning At Night Benefit" at Neumos May 29 and Bumbershoot on September 6.
