Napalm Death @ Studio Seven

Posted by Kelly O on Thu, May 7, 2009 at 4:00 PM

Q: Was it worth it to take two buses to Studio Seven in the wind and rain last night, just to see if Napalm Death would play a cover of "Nazi Punks Fuck Off" by the Dead Kennedys? A: YES! Hell yes.

It was excellent. Napalm's still got it. Also surprised at how many girls were there. Headbangers!

I'm still seriously upset that I didn't make it to this if for no other reason than TRAP THEM.

How the hell were they?

I'm no grindcore superfan, but they sounded pretty fierce to me. I think they even played YOU SUFFER, but I can't say for sure because it happened too fast.

Also think openers Toxic Holocaust are on to something... Their new video for song NUKE THE CROSS (!) has a nice amount of non-ironic metalhead pyrotechnics

#1 - and re-reading your comment, I think you were asking how TRAP THEM was, not Napalm. Oops. I missed their set...
