Your Dose of Awesome for the Day: Unbroken at Burning Fight

Posted by on Mon, May 11, 2009 at 10:53 AM

Hate5six.com posted their footage of Unbroken's set at Burning Fight last weekend. Watch it. It's awesome. (Their set starts around the 10 minute mark, after a couple "hardcore is awesome, thanks for coming" speeches.)

They also added the Guilt set this weekend too—as well as 108, Bane, and more. Now if only they'd get Reach the Sky up! But I'm patient. I'll wait.

(Semi-related side-note: Did anyone go to the Unbroken/Swing Kids/Undertow show in CA this weekend? I heard it was fantastic.

I don't know, is the video truly worth it? I'd hate to have to sit through those awful speeches about dumb shit like hardcore.

@1: Yeah, heaven forbid that someone actually takes time to express how art and community can be transformative. Sheesh, get a job, hxc loserz!

Who's the dick that does the stage dive and lands feet down standing on the crowd? I'm all for a meaningful speech before the show or once or twice during it, but between every song really breaks up the energy and flow of the performance.

Between this and the Trial sets I've watched on that site now, I'm EVEN MORE bummed I missed this.

Now if that site would just post the Undertow set from California....

Thanks for checking out my videos. Footage from every band is now up (including Reach the Sky). And yes, these videos are worth it. If a band has something to say before or after a song, then who am I to edit/censor it? I will never cut a speech out of my videos. You are always welcome to fast-forward.
