You know me so well, Brian.

I actually think it's cool that the band is moving to a smaller label, and I haven't written them off forever, they just have to put out a good record again. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll ever like anything they release with Greg Puciato singing. He just adds a completely wrong jocko vibe to otherwise interesting music. I listened to Ire Works again not too long ago and enjoyed the musicianship quite a bit, but every time Puciato opens his mouth I feel like he's going to kick sand in my face and steal my Betty. There's a fine line between how you want hardcore singers to intimidate you, and he falls on the wrong side of the line, the Jamey Jasta side.

So Sky Eats Airplane covers a Limp Bizkit song and gets pissed when people accuse them of covering said song to get famous. But Limp Bizkit first got their time in the spotlight by covering George Michael's "Faith." So maybe next time, kiddos, don't choose to cover a band who themselves got "big" by doing exactly what you don't want people to think you're doing... Just a thought, geniuses.
