Video Some Say

Meredith Kercher, the woman Amanda Knox is accused of murdering, appeared in a music video not long before her death.

I would have been surprised if the music and video were good. Meredith was an ordinary English girl with ordinary friends and ordinary tastes. Nothing crazy was supposed to happen to her.

[The video] was made by a group of Meredith's friends sometime during 2007 - I think she knows the lead singer.

The people on the video are friends of hers who were at Leeds University and it is unreal to see her in the video and to know that a few months later she was murdered.


What we see in the video is not so much a doomed Meredith but something even stranger: a pre-Amanda Knox Meredith. She has no idea that she shares the world with a woman who is studying at the UW and is dreaming of the land of Italy.

Everything, nay, EVERYTHING CM writes makes me furrow my brow, sigh and think "why does this guy even bother. please retire", but then comment number 1 made me smile enough to make up for it. Carry on.
