At Saturday night's "A Drink for the Kids" benefit for the Vera Project at Neumos, Robin Pecknold of Fleet Foxes performed a fine cover of Neutral Milk Hotel's awesome, epic "Two Headed Boy." Here is an mp3 of that cover:

It was pretty good, but I was disappointed they didn't follow it with "The Fool".

of all the places to find this story, a blog out of Bend, Oregon! The cover's a few forgotten lyrics short of perfect, but I guess that just added to the charm.

I snagged the whole set. Very nice. Very, very nice.

I wonder if the same taper also got Throw Me The Statue's set? Anyone have any idea?
