I think it's unfair to compare a pic of Kim on stage in a sexy dress with a flash blasted pic of Madonna carrying groceries.

BTW - did you know that Kate Pierson from the B-52s is 61?

Kim Gordon and Kate Pierson seem to be aging naturally with confidence, class, and self-respect. It's inspiring. Madonna on the other hand seems to be fighting it so hard that she might yoga herself to death.

Women face tons of issues as they age. More than men do. Wrinkles, gray hair, cellulite... it's frowned upon. It just is.

Or maybe Kim isn't followed by paparazzi 24 hours a day and has more say over how she looks when her picture does get taken?

Is this about the fact that Kim looks more feminine than Madonna? There shouldn't be anything wrong with a muscular 50 year old woman. The facelifts are catching up with her though...
