Why does it matter if either Kim Gordon or Madonna is hot? How come we're not judging David Yow or, say, Doug Martsch based on their appearances rather than their achievements? Most importantly, why aren’t we instead discussing the awesomeness of the pop cultural collision that is the Whitey Album (and why it wasn’t included on Dave Segal’s Sonic Youth mix tape)?

No shit. That post was another one of Kelly O's desperate attempts to show how "one of the dudes" she is. We get it, you love metal, porn, beer, monster truck rallies, etc...just like a million other girls I knew in my 20s who wanted to play bad ass. No need to be a stereotype all the time.
